Never had a problem I use Sport plus mode on longer journeys otherwise normal mode on local trips.
Why not ask dealer for test drive?

I have driven in many conditions and must say it performs really well. Not only in sport mode but using manual change too

Probably slow in achieving that speed in Eco mode. You may use sports mode in these occasions and the car will be more stable as well. You can easily switch between modes.

Please could someone tell if the car is underpowered I am talking about the hybrid version with front wheel drive? Most US and Canadian reviews comment it is a slow car all I need to know is does it have enough power to overtake lorries safely on a UK motorway.
